This piece, inspired by Tupac Shakur’s Starry Night poem, was fueled by the appreciation of beauty. I was moved by the way one influential artist recognized the brilliance of another who wasn’t fully appreciated in his lifetime. By merging Tupac’s portrait with the visual language of Starry Night, I wanted to highlight that lineage of influence and how art transcends time and still resonates deeply across generations.
