Chuck D is one of the original founders of Hip-Hop group Public Enemy. When Tupac was a member of Digital Underground, the two groups went on tour together in 1990. During that tour, Tupac and Chuck D bonded after Tupac confronted the person that stole Public Enemy’s backstage gear. While the two never officially released a musical collaboration together, Tupac once wrote a heartfelt letter to Chuck D asking for a collaboration on a song called “Da Struggle Continues,” which later became “All Eyez on Me.”
